What are we learning this week? (May 2nd -6th)

Things to Remember:
-Pot Luck/ Ice Cream Party/ Assessment Helpers: We still have many needs for donations and helpers! Please check the Writeboard (see directions below) if you are able to help in any way!

-FIELD DAY: Will be May 24th. We will travel by bus to the Field Day location, so please have the permission form filled out and turned in by FRIDAY, MAY 6th.

-ZOO FIELD TRIP: May 19th... The form is going home in your child's blue folder on Wednesday. Please have it turned it as soon as possible!

-KINDERGARTEN "STEPPING UP" CEREMONY: This is our graduation ceremony for Kindergarten, and it will take place on the morning of Wednesday, May 25th. More info to come later, but go ahead and mark your calendar for this special day!!! Also, immediately following the ceremony, we will have a pot luck lunch in the classroom for the boys and their parents. If you can donate a dish for the pot luck, please visit the writeboard (see below) to sign up.

VOLUNTEERS: We are no longer in need of parent helpers during station time. Thanks SO much to those of you who have helped throughout the year, it makes station time so much easier!!!
Now I am looking for volunteers to come in and do some end of the year assessments with the boys, as well as some donations for end of the year activities. If you can assist with either of these things, please visit the class writeboard to sign up!

-FULL DAYS: Please note that March 16th and May 25th were originally scheduled to be HALF days, but we have now changed them to FULL DAYS to make up for the snow day in January.

-Field Day T-shirts: A note went home from Coach Jackson regarding Field Day t-shirts. It would be great to have all of our boys order one if you are able! Please return the order form with CASH only as soon as possible! *PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANOTHER FORM!*

-PTA Meeting: Tuesday, April 12th in the MPR

-Picture Day: Is this Wednesday, April 13th. Your child needs to wear a uniform to school that day, but may bring a change of clothes if you would prefer them to wear something else for their picture. ONLY students who have prepaid will be taking pictures! Please send in the money no later than Wednesday morning.

Things to Remember: -Report Cards: Please be sure that you sign and return your child's report card envelops as soon as possible.

-FULL DAYS: Please note that March 16th and May 25th were originally scheduled to be HALF days, but we have now changed them to FULL DAYS to make up for the snow day in January.

-Field Day T-shirts: A note went home from Coach Jackson regarding Field Day t-shirts. It would be great to have all of our boys order one if you are able! Please return the order form with CASH only as soon as possible!

-Silent Auction: Was a huge success! Our class project went for $400! Thanks so much to Mittie Fox for organizing our class project, and thanks also to all the parents that showed up Saturday night to support the school!
-Spring Break: April 4th -8th

What are we learning this week? (March 21-25)

Things to Remember:
-Addresses- One skill we need to master in this unit is memorization of home addresses. It can be very difficult to teach this in class since each student's is different, but we will do some reinforcement activities. I am relying on parents to work with your child on this please! Please review and practice home address and telephone number until your child has it consistently memorized!
